Drupal 7 Code Freeze

I was happy to see a code freeze announced on the Drupal web site. I haven’t been following Drupal news lately, but as I know from watching Drupal 4.7 become 5 then 6, a code freeze means that a release candidate for Drupal 7 is about six months out. Exciting stuff! I’m going to have to install a test version of Drupal 7 to see what they are doing with the latest version.

Definately exciting! Joomla is just now on 1.5.15 and still probably that many months away from 1.6…I noticed that they thanked the drupal folks for helping them with a call to locate 4 events locations for the next year…which is really cool of drupal I think!

Definately exciting!
